Artist Statement

My work explores the intersection of memory, emotion, and materiality. Through a process of layering, erosion, and reconstruction, I seek to capture the ephemeral nature of human experience and the traces we leave behind.

Each piece begins with an intuitive response to color, texture, and form. I am drawn to the way materials interact—how paint bleeds into canvas, how light shifts across surfaces, how composition can evoke a sense of place or feeling without literal representation.

My artistic practice is rooted in experimentation and discovery. I work primarily with mixed media, combining traditional techniques with contemporary approaches to create works that are both tactile and atmospheric. The process itself becomes a meditation on transformation and the beauty found in imperfection.

Through my art, I invite viewers to pause, to reflect, and to find their own narratives within the abstract landscapes I create. My hope is that each piece serves as a portal—a space for contemplation, connection, and personal interpretation.
